Each insurance plan is unique, and benefits vary from policy to policy. Navigating your ABA coverage yourself is always an option, but it can become confusing and overwhelming. That’s why at Burton Behavioral Interventions Corp, we have a team of professionals that will contact your insurance carrier for you to verify ABA coverage on your policy prior to starting services.

** Please note that ABA services are typically only covered by insurance for children who have a formal evaluation for and/or diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. The evaluation and diagnosis can be by a physician (e.g., pediatrician, pediatric psychiatrist, or neurologist) or a licensed psychologist. The physician or psychologist must recommend that ABA therapy is medically necessary for your child. This diagnosis must be on file with our practice in order to submit your claim to the insurance company.
